This organic ceramic form was inspired by natural underwater growths and decaying flora. The piece, glazed in deep green and earthy brown tones, subtly resembles both a coral structure and a wilting plant—evoking a sense of suspended time and transformation. I titled it Memory to highlight the irony: while memory is meant to preserve, it often distorts, fades, or mutates—just like the form itself. I hope viewers feel a sense of ambiguity and curiosity, questioning what they’re seeing and what it might have once been. I chose ceramic for its tactile presence and ability to freeze fleeting, soft forms in permanence.
